| Development board for experimenting and developing applications around the SpeakJet™. Exploits all of the SpeakJet™ capabilities. This fully assembled and tested activity center for the SpeakJet Speech Synthesizer IC allows you fast prototyping. No need to wire up a circuit. Just unpack and go! This is the quickest way to get started using the SpeakJet. RS-232 Interace with DB9 Connector for interface to a PC On-board socket for Basic Stamp or OOPIC Audio Out is selectable between raw, filtered, filtered/amp Dual Power Supply - 9 Volt Battery or 6 to 15 V DC Adaptor Audio out jack for headphones or amplified speakers Micro Reset Button On board audio amplifier 3 User Programmable Status LED's 8 Button inputs 8 LED's for output 6" X 4" Your PC can then talk directly to the SpeakJet or just change a jumper and you can talk to an on board microprocessor such as a Basic Stamp or OOPIC. The Activity Center has a stereo mini jack for adding your own external speakers or headphones. Add your own 6 to 15 V DC adapter or use a 9V battery (not included). * Note that SpeakJet IC, serial cable, 9 Volt Battery cable, Basic Stamp or OOPIC, speakers are not included. |
